DQN - DU QUESNE respects your privacy. This page explains, in plain words, which data we collect when you use www.dqn.be, why, how long we keep it and what your rights are, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
In brief
- We only collect what you give us: your details when you request a quote, an intervention, a warranty or information.
- We use them to answer you and to follow up our machines. Never to sell them.
- The site uses a few technical cookies (language, cart, selected machine) and Google services (statistics, bot protection, map, videos).
- You can view, correct or erase your data at any time: an e-mail to info@dqn.be is enough.

When you fill in a form

Required fields are marked with an asterisk: without them we cannot process your request.

When you look up your machine
In the Support section, the serial number you enter is matched against our register of delivered machines, to show you the documentation, the parts and the other machines of your company. That register holds the customer company name, the model and the serial number; your visit does not change it.

When you browse: cookies and technical data
A cookie is a small file placed on your device. The site uses:

You can refuse or delete cookies in your browser settings; the technical cookies are then lost (language, cart). We do no targeted advertising.
What we do with it

Purposes and legal bases
- Answer your requests (quote, intervention, warranty, information): pre-contractual steps or performance of the contract.
- Follow up our machines (documentation, parts, warranty): our legitimate interest and yours.
- Improve the site through visit statistics: our legitimate interest.
- Meet our legal obligations (accounting, legal warranty).
We do not use your data for prospecting without your consent and we never sell it.

Who has access
- DQN staff in charge of sales, after-sales service and administration.
- Where relevant, the DQN distributor for your region, when they follow up your request.
- Our technical providers, bound by confidentiality: the agency that develops and hosts this site (Fusor, Belgium) and Google (reCAPTCHA, Tag Manager, Maps, YouTube). Google may process data outside the European Union, under the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

How long
- Quote, intervention and information requests: 3 years after our last contact.
- Warranty requests and machine register: for the lifetime of the machine, to follow it up.
- Accounting documents: 7 years (legal obligation).
- Unsolicited applications: 12 months at most.

Security
The site is served over an encrypted connection (https). Forms are protected against automated submissions and data is stored on systems whose access is limited to authorised persons.
Your rights

Access, rectification, erasure and more
You can at any time ask to view your data, have it corrected or erased, restrict its use, object to processing based on our legitimate interest, or obtain a copy in a common format. Write to info@dqn.be; we reply within one month.
If you believe your rights are not respected, you may lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels).

This policy may change along with the site or the regulations. The date of the last update appears at the top of the page; the online version is the one that applies.
