1. Demounting tool
2. Guide shoe
3. Rubber Tube Ø15
4. Trident
5. Rubber Tube Ø25
6. Rim edge protector
7. Bead-lifter
8. RF-arm (Runflat)
1.When the rim is fixed on the turning table, put the tool in contact with the rim edge and fasten it. A vertical and horizontal distance,
with reference to the rim, arises automatically.
2.After lubricating the two beads, put the tyre sloping on the rim, the lower bead upon the guide shoe (of the mounting- demounting
tool), the other side of the bead is crossed the rim edge at the valve, this one located at the opposite of the tool. (At ±180°)
3.In this position, let the wheel turn. The lower bead is mounted passing the rim base.
4.Put the bakelite ball of the RF-arm under the rim edge, the cone on the side of the tyre. Let the table turn until the valve is passed by the bakelite ball of the RF-arm..
5.Take the Trident with two hands and place the first tooth under the rim edge on the tyre bead to mount, just after the valve. Let the wheel turn (±30cm) for placing the three teeth under the rim edge, just after the bakelite ball of the RF-arm. The Trident is easily
placed in horizontal position (Flat).
6.The Trident is auto-fixed and the three teeth remain automatically on their place. During table rotation the bead is guided - without
other intervention - in the rim base, no matter the resistance of the tyre.
Precaution: If the Trident slips along the circumference of the rim (by the effect of the lubrication), a light hand push, in the rotation direction, keeps it solid with the rim edge.
7.After mounting the two beads, let the wheel turn until the tool is on the place where the side of the tyre is pushed down. This avoids any contact with the rim by unfastening the tool.
